Toyota's hybrid and electric vehicles’ plan for India | Chat with Vikram Gulati, Country Head, Toyota
Toyota has been one of the largest sellers of hybrid cars in the world. Along with that, it is also one of the few carmakers to have hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in its portfolio. However, the company's line-up of all-electric cars is quite limited. The company was, in fact, one of the pioneers of electric cars but the lack of charging infrastructure and high battery pack cost prevented Toyota EVs from getting popular. We posed this question to Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, and received an interesting answer. That was not all, there many others questions that Kranti discussed with him in this interview.
